About Kansan Trivia
Kansan Trivia is a contest from the University Daily Kansan, sponsored by KU Endowment.
Who can play?
You must be a KU student to participate. Students can only play once per question or once per week. The contest runs from October 2 to December 8, and there will be 10 weekly questions. Therefore, you have 10 chances to win.
How do you play?
First, log on to www.kansan.com. Click on the link for Kansan Trivia. Create a profile, using your name, KU ID, and other basic information. You’ll receive a confirmation email. Follow the link in the email back to the trivia site, and login to play.
Where do you find the answers to trivia questions?

We’ll usually give you a hint as to which website will be the most helpful.
How long do I have to answer the weekly question?
You may answer from Monday at 12:01am until Sunday at 11:59pm of a given question week.
How are winners chosen?
Winners are chosen at random from the correct answers. So if you answer the question correctly, you have a chance at winning. If you guess the wrong answer, you have to wait until next week to be eligible for the prize.
How will I know if I won or not?
Winners will be contacted the Monday following the question week. We’ll first try to reach the winner via email. If that doesn’t work, we’ll call the winner.
If I win, can I win again?
Yes, if you answer the question correctly and are chosen at random again.
